Covington, KY — DBL Law announced today that Patrick Hughes has been elected Managing Partner, effective February 1, 2026. Hughes succeeds Bob Hoffer, who has served in the role for the past seven years.
The leadership transition follows a deliberate, strategically planned succession process designed to ensure continuity, stability, and the long-term success of the firm and its people.
Patrick Hughes has been with DBL Law for 30 years and has played a significant role in shaping the firm’s culture, leadership approach, and client service philosophy. His election reflects the Partnership’s confidence in his ability to build on the firm’s strong foundation while guiding DBL Law into its next chapter.
