Zachary Eichner

Associate

Zach is an Associate in DBL Law’s Health Care and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice groups. He represents hospitals, health systems, and other healthcare providers on regulatory matters, including Medicare/Medicaid reimbursement and certificate of need issues. He also handles complex litigation, including business and international disputes.”

Zach is involved in all stages of litigation, including claim evaluation, written discovery, depositions, motion practice, negotiation, and trial preparation. He is committed to delivering clear communication, strong analytical skills, and strategic case development. His background in biological and life sciences research enhances his ability to evaluate technical records, work effectively with expert-driven evidence, and distill complex information into clear, persuasive arguments.

Zach is a member of the New York State Bar Association and has received recognition for leadership and service, including the Pro Bono Champion Award from the Volunteer Lawyers Project and the Distinguished Service Award from the Syracuse University College of Law.

Outside of his legal practice, Zach remains engaged in community service and professional mentorship focused on access to justice and inclusive legal services. He also enjoys travelling, attempting to master new recipes, and spending time with his cat, Saige.

Prior to joining DBL Law in 2026, Zach practiced at McGivney Kluger Clark & Intoccia and worked in nonprofit legal services, supporting complex matters involving immigration and civil rights advocacy, drafting substantive legal filings, assisting with litigation strategy, and training junior participants.

Zach earned his Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law, where he served as Executive Treasurer of the Student Bar Association and Business Editor of the Journal of Science and Technology. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Public Policy from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where he was the inaugural participant in the accelerated 3+3 program with Syracuse University College of Law and completed a minor in Cellular and Molecular Biology.
