Restrictions Placed On Out-of-State Travel

Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has signed an executive order on March 30, 2020, temporarily restricting travel to other states.  The only exemptions to this Order are that residents may travel across state lines for work purposes, to receive medical care, or to care for a loved one. Kentucky residents living on the border of another state are permitted to travel for groceries or essential supplies or if they are directed by the courts to travel out-of-state. The Governor also directed those who travel across state lines to self-quarantine for 14 days.  Kentucky is following the lead of other states to restrict residents’ movements and slow the spread of COVID-19.   For a full copy of the Order, see https://governor.ky.gov/covid19.
