Zach is an associate in DBL Law’s Cincinnati office. He is a member of the Employment & Labor and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice groups.
Zach received his Juris Doctor from Elon University School of Law in Greensboro, North Carolina. While at Elon, Zach was a member of Moot Court and served as President of the Federalist Society. He clerked for three different law firms while in law school, gaining practical experience in business litigation, construction litigation, estate planning, and labor and employment law. Zach received his undergraduate degree from the University of Tennessee.
Prior to joining DBL Law, Zach practiced at a boutique labor and employment law firm in middle Tennessee. Zach successfully defended clients in bench trials, summary judgment hearings, and other dispositive motion hearings in state courts and administrative law courts throughout Tennessee.
At DBL, Zach’s practice focuses primarily on business litigation and labor and employment. In his business litigation practice, Zach works closely with complex commercial laws across a variety of jurisdictions, both state and federal, and represents clients in state and federal courts. In his labor and employment practice, Zach litigates in administrative agencies, state courts, and federal courts and advises clients on compliance with various employment matters. He also drafts employment, non-compete, and severance agreements. Zach has presented on a variety of topics in the realm of labor and employment, including social media use in the workplace, state online privacy laws, and the impact of remote and hybrid workplaces on employers and employees.
When not in the office, Zach is spending time with his family and friends, working around the house, and, in the fall, watching Tennessee Volunteers football. He and his wife reside in Mt. Washington.
