DBL_Law_Attorney_Marisa_Gamel

Marisa is an Associate at DBL Law’s Northern Kentucky office, practicing in the firm’s Estate Planning and Probate Practice Group. Her work includes drafting wills, living wills, powers of attorney, and a wide range of trusts based on a client’s needs – from a federally taxable estate to a non-federally taxable estate. Marisa also represents clients in other probate related matters such as guardianships, and legal name changes.

She earned her bachelor’s in business administration from the University of Cincinnati, with a certificate in business law and ethics. While at the University of Cincinnati, Marisa was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and served as the Judicial Chair and Recording Secretary. Before heading to law school, she also completed a Post Baccalaureate Certificate in Law and Paralegal Studies at the University of Cincinnati.

Marisa went on to attend Charleston School of Law. If you ever ask her why just know she will say something along the lines of, “I was going to spend all my time studying, I might as well do it with a view.” During law school, she served as President of the Criminal Law Society and as Secretary of Phi Alpha Delta. When she wasn’t studying or working, she spent countless hours at housing court volunteering with Charleston Pro Bono Legal Services.

Marisa is now happy to be back home in Northern Kentucky and looks forward to diving back into the community.
