Gerald is a former managing partner of DBL Law and is a partner in the Estate Planning section.
In 1978, Gerald became a Diplomat of the Court of Practice Institute. He was listed for 10 consecutive years in Best Lawyers in America in the field of health care law. He was a founding member of the Northern Kentucky Estate Plan Council and has been engaged in the area of estate planning for 35 years.
Gerald is a former Trustee of the Catholic Men’s Fellowship of Greater Cincinnati; Director and President of Trinity World Missions, Inc.; Mission Teams Coordinator for Mustard Seed Communities at Jacob’s Ladder in Jamaica.
Gerald resides in Edgewood, Kentucky, with his wife of 49 years, Linda Metz Benzinger. He has 6 grown children and 22 grandchildren. He is a survivor of Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. His other interests include golf, racquetball, fly fishing and gardening. His favorite golf memory is shooting a best ever 79 at Hickory Sticks Golf Course three days after his first chemotherapy treatment in June 2002.
