Cathy L. Stickels is a partner in the firm’s civil litigation practice group. Her practice focuses on healthcare law, medical malpractice and workers’ compensation law. Cathy has successfully represented clients at all levels of litigation, including jury trials and before appellate courts. She graduated magna cum laude with a B.A. in Clinical Psychology from Western Kentucky University in 1986. From 1986 to 1990, she worked with mentally ill and developmentally disabled adults in an Ohio adult outreach program.
In 1991, Cathy graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. She worked from 1991 to 2001 as a Critical Care and Emergency Room nurse in two Northern Kentucky hospitals. Cathy then obtained her law degree from Salmon P. Chase College of Law in 2002 and is admitted to practice law in Commonwealth the Kentucky.
Cathy has served on several boards and committees, including the American Health Lawyers Association, the Kentucky Symphony Orchestra, Legal Aid of the Bluegrass, Senior Service of Northern Kentucky and Kentucky Education Television. Cathy is an active member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Women’s Initiative.
