Jeff represents businesses, lenders, construction companies and design professionals on a wide variety of matters. For his business clients, he handles acquisitions, divestitures and mergers; import and export matters; leases; contract review; real estate acquisitions and sales; financing arrangements; state and local tax incentives; employment matters; employee and non-compete agreements; and general business law advice.
For his lending clients, Jeff has extensive experience handling conventional real estate loans; equipment and working capital loans (including asset based loans); ESOP loans; bond financing (including tax increment financing); and letters of credit matters. For his construction and professional design clients, Jeff handles contract drafting and review; dispute resolution; damage and delay claims; risk management, liability and indemnification matters; joint venture and teaming agreements; and sub-contracting issues. Jeff has experience managing a union industrial construction company, a non-union industrial construction company, a manufacturing company, and an engineering firm. His experience actually running businesses has proven invaluable in his role as legal advisor and counselor to his business clients.
Jeff served as an Officer in the United States Marine Corps. He resides in Fort Thomas, Kentucky with his wife, Jennie and they have two grown sons. When Jeff is not on the office or at home, he is either on the Ohio River or on his farm in Bracken County, Kentucky.
