Looking for a sweet event? DBL Law Market in the Park is in Washington Park every Monday from 4pm to 8pm, bringing you fresh, local eats, refreshing beverages and handcrafted goods. One Findlay Market vendor, Bee Haven Honey, brings some naturally sweet products to this Monday event.
Proprietors Samantha and Scott Gordon own this intergenerational home-based business and have a passion for providing naturally healthy products for their community. As local beekeepers, Samantha and Scott offer visitors to this Washington Park market a variety of honey-based and natural products, including pure raw honey, pollen, honey jams, beeswax candles, hand salves, lip balms and therapeutic rice packs.
In 2005, the couple became interested in beekeeping after reading the novel The Secret Life of Bees.
They decided to put two hives in the back field on their Berry Farm in New Richmond. With a lot of reading and support from local beekeepers and a multitude of bee stings, they now have many hives. Usually, you can find them at Findlay Market every weekend, but they’re also bringing their all-natural honey and beeswax products to DBL Law Market in the Park on Monday evenings throughout the summer.
As one of the larger law firms with an office in downtown Cincinnati as well as Northern Kentucky, DBL Law is a proud to work with 3CDC to support the vendors and community through the Washington Park event, Market in the Park. While the attorneys at DBL Law are often seen working with many of the businesses in the Greater Cincinnati area, they are also working to improve the community by serving on the boards of numerous charitable and non-profit organizations. It is a part of their overall commitment to help create a thriving local community.
