James A. Dressman III and Mark D. Guilfoyle, partners in the law firm of Deters, Benzinger & LaVelle (DBL), were recognized in the February/March issue of Cincy Business Magazine as two of the top lawyers in the tri-state area. These DBL partners are among 143 area attorneys featured in the publication’s “Leading Lawyers” list, compiled from nominations by recipients’ peers.
Dressman heads the commercial law and banking practice at DBL. His practice includes banking law, commercial transactions, tax law, estate planning and real estate.
Dressman obtained a law degree from the University of Kentucky in 1977 and is a member of the Ohio State, Northern Kentucky and Kentucky Bar Associations.
Guilfoyle heads the administrative law section at DBL. He practices in the areas of government affairs, labor and employment relations, and economic development matters.
Guilfoyle obtained a law degree with honors from George Washington University in 1983 and is a member of the Northern Kentucky and Kentucky Bar Associations.
