DBL Law is pleased to announce that Nicole Elver has joined the firm in the firm’s downtown Louisville office.
Elver practices in the firm’s White Collar Criminal Defense and Civil Litigation practice groups. She has experience in state and federal litigation, including securities, False Claims Act, breach of contract, unfair competition (including trade secret and restrictive covenant violations), commercial fraud, and general business litigation.
Prior to Joining DBL Law, Elver served as a Senior Attorney in the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission Division of Enforcement in Washington, D.C. While with the SEC, she led cases involving allegations of violations of the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 and the Investment Advisors Act of 1940, including allegations of insider trading, market manipulation, fraudulent disclosures and violations of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act.
Elver earned her law degree from Marquette University Law School after completing undergraduate work at Gustavus Adolphus College.
