Prior to joining DBL, Roettger worked in assurance and advisory services for a global accounting firm in Washington, DC and was the legislative correspondent for former Congressman Ken Lucas. She also has several years of experience in litigation.
Roettger received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and her law degree from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law where she received the Dean’s Award for her work in the Tax Law Society.
Roettger is a member of the Kentucky and Ohio Bar Associations and is also a Certified Public Accountant in the Commonwealths of Virginia and Kentucky.
Ms. Spitzig is an associate practicing in the area of Administrative Law. She is admitted to practice law in Ohio.
Prior to joining DBL, Spitzig worked for the Ohio Attorney General’s Office in the Environmental Enforcement Section. She litigated civil enforcement cases dealing with Ohio’s Water Pollution Control and Safe Drinking Water laws and rules. She also represented the Director of Ohio EPA in administrative actions involving water pollution control and safe drinking water matters.
Spitzig obtained her law degree from Georgetown University Law Center. She received a B.A. in Political Science from Franciscan University of Steubenville. During law school, Erica was a senior notes editor on the Georgetown Journal of Legal Ethics.
Spitzig is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association.« Back to news
