Crestview Hills, KY; January 28, 2007– David Kramer, a partner with Deters, Benzinger & LaVelle, a member of Crestview Hills City Council and Chairman of the City’s Economic Development & Zoning Committee since 2000, has been reappointed by City Council as Chairman of the Economic Development Committee. He has also been reappointed to the Governing Board of the Lakeside Park/Crestview Hills Police Authority.
During Kramer’s tenure, economic development in Crestview Hills has included redevelopment of the Crestview Hills Mall into the Crestview Hills Town Center, an upscale lifestyle center, the relocation of scores of new companies and professional firms to the Thomas More Research Park, and most recently the announcement that Columbia Sussex Corporation, the largest privately held corporation in Greater Cincinnati, will move its headquarters to Crestview Hills. The City’s payroll tax now generates nearly $1.2 million in tax receipts per year, an increase of more than 350% since 1990. The growth in the payroll tax has enabled the City to keep residential property tax rates among the lowest in Northern Kentucky.
