DBL Partner Bob Hoffer was recently named as one of the six Leaders of Distinction as part of the 30th anniversary of Leadership Northern Kentucky (LNK). Bob was a graduate of the LNK Class of 2007.
As class Vice President and chair of his class project for LNK, Hoffer helped raise more than $60,000 to construct a covered play area for the residents at Northern Kentucky Children’s Home. In addition to this contribution, Hoffer has demonstrated extraordinary leadership in professional, civic and community roles including serving as a board member for Blessed Sacrament Church Pastoral Council and Boosters, Crossroads Hospice, Northern Kentucky Bar Association and the advisory board for Sisters of Divine Providence. He has also coached youth sports for over 20 years and been a leader for the Diocese of Covington assisting with its Cursillo and Christian Awakening retreats.
“Bob Hoffer is a leader who is committed to making a positive impact on the lives of many, many people in our community, whether young, middle-aged or seniors,” said managing partner Gerry Benzinger. “He accomplishes more in one week than most people do in a month. Bob is a leader in our firm and truly a leader of distinction for our region.”
Hoffer and his fellow honorees will be formally inducted at the NKY Chamber’s annual dinner on Tuesday, September 29.
Hoffer heads DBL’s employment law division which represents employers of all sizes including some of the largest throughout the Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati area. His employment law practice covers all issues impacting employers on a daily basis including compliance with the state and federal employment laws. A large part of his practice includes litigating employment cases in federal and state courts.
