Danyel is an associate attorney and primarily practices in the area of Administrative Law and Civil Litigation. She first joined DBL Law in July 2017 and is based in the firm’s Northern Kentucky office.
Danyel graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law in 2015. While attending UC Law, Danyel served as the Executive Editor for the Freedom Center Journal and as a Program Assistant to the Center for Race, Gender and Social Justice. She also served as a Brandery Fellow, providing legal services to a handful of start-up companies as the companies secured their first round of investments. Danyel also served as an extern in UC Law and the Legal Aid Society of Southwest Ohio’s Domestic Violence Clinic where she worked to obtain protective orders for indigent clients.
After graduating from UC Law, Danyel served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Jeffrey P. Hopkins at the Bankruptcy Court of the Southern District of Ohio.
Prior to attending law school, Danyel obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology and Spanish with a minor in Latin American Studies from Transylvania University.
Danyel Rickman is from Nashville, TN and currently resides in Taylor Mill, KY with her husband, daughter, and dog.
