Reneé L. Alsip is an associate practicing in the areas of health care and medical malpractice defense. She represents hospitals and other medical providers on a variety of healthcare issues, including regulatory and contractual matters.
Prior to joining Deters, Benzinger & LaVelle, Reneé was a Lead Caselaw Editor for LexisNexis, writing and editing summaries of court opinions in all areas of the law. She also practiced criminal defense and domestic relations law. Reneé has briefed and argued federal criminal cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit. She also has provided pro bono legal services through the Northern Kentucky Legal Aid Society and the Women's Crisis Center.
While attending law school, Reneé was a member of the Moot Court Board, taking second place in the W. Jack Grosse Moot Court Competition and serving as the Environmental Law Competition Chair. She was also a member of the Salmon P. Chase Inn of Court and received the Charles S. Bell Memorial Award for Constitutional Law and CALI Award for Conflicts of Law.
Reneé resides in Loveland with her two daughters.
