Lesley Bilby is an Associate in the Employment and Labor practice group. She has assisted clients in state and federal court cases involving the Americans with Disabilities Act, Title VII, the Family and Medical Leave Act, and the Age Discrimination in Employment Act. Lesley has also represented clients before administrative bodies including the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the Kentucky Commission on Human Rights.
Prior to joining DBL Law, Lesley clerked on the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and on the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Kentucky. Lesley interned with the United States Department of Justice in the Environment and Natural Resources Division.
Lesley obtained her J.D. from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 2010. Upon graduation, she was elected to the Order of the Coif. Lesley served as the Editor-in-chief of the Kentucky Law Journal.Lesley has a B.A. from Centre College where she graduated magna cum laude. She also received an M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Cambridge, Cambridge, U.K.
