James A. Dietz represents non-profit and county hospitals and healthcare systems, physicians and physician groups, nursing facilities, and other medical providers regarding a variety of healthcare-related issues.

Jim advises healthcare clients across the Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati, Ohio regions on a variety of contractual, regulatory, and general corporate matters.  Such matters include managed care, employment, and vendor contracts; joint ventures; physician recruitment; anti-kickback, Stark, and regulatory compliance; Medicare and Medicaid issues; governance structures; and other various healthcare-related issues.  He is a frequent speaker and writer on managed care, Stark law, and other healthcare topics.

Jim is an Army veteran and has served as the President of the Kentucky Academy of Hospital Attorneys.  He is also a former member of the Board of Directors for the Diocesan Catholic Children's Home in Fort Mitchell, Kentucky.  He is active with his church, St. Pius X in Edgewood, having served on its annual festival committee and in other capacities.  Jim has also coached or assisted coaching numerous youth sports teams.

Jim resides in Edgewood, Kentucky, with his wife Stephanie, who is also a practicing attorney, and two boys.
