Daniel T. Mistler represents plaintiffs in litigation regarding auto accident personal injuries; residential real estate closing issues; consumer protection issues; small business litigation; insurance policy disputes, and other general civil litigation.  Prior to practicing law he worked as a claims adjuster for three major auto insurance carriers and served as Alabama claims manager for Nationwide Insurance Company.

In addition to litigation, Dan represented a local housing authority for 15 years and has provided assistance to indigent tenants on a pro bono basis.  As a child, Dan lived in low-income public housing, and has been honored by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development as a "Hero of Public Housing" as a role model to the children of public housing in Kentucky.

Dan represented the Trustees of The Kentucky Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church, Inc. and concluded a major litigation case which resulted in a settlement in favor of the church in excess of $20 million.

Dan currently serves as President of the Board of Trustees of the Children's Home of Northern Kentucky where he, his brother and three sisters resided in the mid-1940's when it served as an orphanage. The Children's Home now serves abused, neglected and at-risk children through its residential treatment program and intensive In-home services.
