DBL Law’s tradition of excellence is underscored by numerous professional awards for the firm and individual attorneys. Below is a sampling of these awards.

Firm Awards

• U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers named DBL Law to the 2011 Best Law Firms list. DBL received first-tier recognition for Health Care Law and Banking & Finance  Law in Cincinnati. DBL has been named to the list in each of the two years of its publication.
• DBL Law was recognized as the volunteer firm of the year by Northern Kentucky Volunteer Lawyers, Inc.
• In 2011, DBL Law was named one of the Top 100 Workplaces in the region by the Cincinnati Enquirer and the national surveying firm Workplace Dynamics.

Individual Attorney Awards

Best Lawyers in America ®

• DBL Managing Partner Gerald Benzinger and fellow partners Jim Dietz, Matt Klein and Bob Stevens have been selected as Best Lawyers for 2012 in the practice of Health Care Law.
• In addition, DBL Partners Joe Cleves (Construction Law), Jim Dressman (Banking and Finance Law), and Mark Guilfoyle (Administrative and Regulatory Law) were also selected as Best Lawyers for 2012.
• Benzinger has been listed in Best Lawyers for 19 consecutive years.
• Dietz has been listed in Best Lawyers for five consecutive years.
• Klein has been listed in Best Lawyers for four consecutive years.
• Stevens has been listed in Best Lawyers for 21 consecutive years.

Super Lawyers

• DBL Law partners  Gerald Benzinger (Civil Litigation Defense), Mark Guilfoyle (Administrative Law), Mathew Klein, Jr. (Health Care), and David Kramer (Personal Injury Defense, Med Mal) were named 2011 Kentucky Super Lawyers. In addition, Dan McKinney, Of Counsel (Estate Planning), was named a 2011 Ohio Super Lawyer.
