Crestview Hills, KY; December 15, 2010—James A. Dressman, III, partner at DBL Law, was recently reappointed chairman to the Kentucky Bar Association’s (KBA) Audit Committee. Dressman was reappointed to serve on the committee through 2013. Dressman and this committee will be responsible for appointing independent auditors and working with them and internal staff to ensure sound accounting practices and financial reporting for the KBA.
Mr. Dressman demonstrates a strong commitment to serving his profession and his community. He is a member of the Cincinnati Freestore Foodbank’s Foundation and a member of the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce Board of Advisors, the Thomas More College Foundation Board, Thomas More College Major Gifts Committee (chair), and the board of directors of Northern Kentucky Volunteer Lawyers, Inc. Mr. Dressman is also a prior board member and past president of Senior Services of Northern Kentucky and former president of Greenup Haus, Inc., a low-income nonprofit housing project. He has also served as chair of the Diocese of Covington Diocesan and Parish Annual Appeal.
Mr. Dressman heads the commercial law and banking practice at DBL. His practice includes banking law, commercial transactions, tax law, probate, estate planning and real estate.
